2440 bottles might sound like a lot, and I guess it is when you look at it, but when you start thinking about it that's only 203 cases (or so) of this limited availability wine. At first I questioned whether I liked this wine, but with repeated sips I started to wake up to what I was tasting (so give it a fair shake of 3 or 4 sips). There's a nice mineral quality with mac apple style acidity and it's that mineral that might throw you off, but keep in mind this wine has no oak to lean on, it's 100% unoaked Chardonnay.
