My colleague, Tony Aspler, called this "the best wine I have tasted from the G Marquis portfolio" and I would have to agree with him. This is a nice fruit forward blend of Merlot (50%) with equal parts of the Cabernets: Sauvignon and Franc. Loads of plum and black cherry touched with cedar and herbal notes backed by cocoa and cassis. Price: $29.95 - Rating: ****
