This seems a very tame blend for a usually out-there type of blender like Harold Wagner – this 50/50 duo of Merlot and Cabernet Franc is a fruit forward affair that has slight oak notes: cherry, vanilla and cinnamon take the reins before relinquishing to a peppery finish … I would say this wine needs about 2 years to fully integrate.
