Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it with dew, cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two, the candyman, the candyman can ... That`s what the label of Harwood Estates "Just Desserts" makes me think of, and ... well the palate isn`t far off the mark either. This is a blend of some oddball grapes: La Crescent, Traminette, Guishenheim and Fontenac Gris ... the nose matches the flavours being offered up: sweet raspberry, cherry and cranberry cocktail all balanced by a nice, almost bracing, hit of acidity on the finish.
