Fruit wine is so much fun, because it delivers on its name – Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay really don’t describe a flavour or smell – they have profiles but then can be manipulated … now when I say strawberry, that conjures up smells and flavours that we can all recognize. This one really is luscious strawberries with a sprinkling of sugar or better yet, bathed in honey.
