A nose of vanilla, apple, peach and pear -the palate is crisp and fresh with lots of fruit and only a kiss of oak. I liked the nice acidity and vanilla bosc pear finish. I was surprised that the wooding was 65% new – but that was probably offset by the 30% unoaked Chardonnay in the blend. This one has great fruit while still showing oak character … it really shows a deft hand in its making. Price: $16.00 - Rating: ****
