This is the kind of wine you think about when you hear those two French words strung together – Sauvignon Blanc. Grapefruit and asparagus cling to the olfactories like a drowning man to a lifeboat; the acidity keeps the mouth watering long after the swallow and there’s also that fresh clipped grass quality that appeals so much. This is Strewn’s very first wine under screwcap, which should keep this wine fresh and clean all summer long. Price: $16.95 – Rating: ****
