The folks at Malivoire are slowly but surely expanding their portfolio - the slowly part is because they want to do it right instead of just willy-nilly adding grape varieties. This Cabernet Franc is a juicy affair from the hot 2010 vintage. There's nice tobacco and spice with dark fruit and some nice heft from the nice ripe fruit. All in all you could say it's a nice wine. Tannins and acidity bring that juiciness into, you guessed it, a nice balance. Price: $24.95 - Rating: *** 1/2+
