Passion is a port-style wine (with a little something extra) made from Cabernet Franc (icewine), Baco Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon; it's not the first time Stoney Ridge has made a port and I think they keep getting better every time they try their hand at it. This one might possibly be their best to date. Sweet cherry, milk chocolate and plum greet the sniffer; while the palate follows up on what the nose is offering up ... this sweetie is full of flavour and rich in sweetness.
