Those looking to see how the '09 reds have fared needn't look much further than this fine Henry of Pelham offering. A blend of the big three Cabernet Franc (37%), Cabernet Sauvignon (14%) and Merlot (49%) that's really very drinkable right off the hop with a balanced ratio of fruit to tannins. Mainly black fruited you'll find a hint of earthiness amongst the black cherry, blackberry and touch of tobacco. Good wine for a summer BBQ this year or it can be held 2-3 years.
