Cooper's Hawk is the latest edition to the Lake Erie's winery roster, and with this wine they show they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. The blend is 60% Cabernet Franc to 40% Merlot aged in oak for 16 months ... the first thing that rolls over the tongue is spice and that lingers until the next sip when cassis, cedar, smoky vanilla and black cherry join the party.
