Strewn 2007 Terroir 'Three'
You can assume the 'Three' stands for 'the big three': Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This one is quite lovely all around, but mostly on the palate where it counts. The nose is shy and needs some real coaxing but the palate more than makes up for it: blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and black cherry all play a part in palatal enjoyment, there's also some nice silky tannins to bring it all together. Drinks nicely right now, so feel free to indulge and enjoy. Price: $29.95 - Rating: ****
