The Claystone was the first I tried of the new ‘11s and was impressed by this straight forward Pinot with a twist: nose seemed simplistically earthy and sour cherry with a palate that follows close to the nez adding hearty tannins and hints of pepper – but what really struck me was the big dose of cherry.
