Destined for the First Frost but forgotten about in the cellar; on paper this wine would seem to be a little old to be hitting shelves, but if I’ve learned anything about Vidal is that it makes a lovely table wine and it has some ageability to it. This one is very floral with orange blossom made in an off-dry style that highlights the fruit without being overly sweet because of that nice acid backbone that slips in.
