If nothing else Norman Hardie sure knows how to make attractive, approachable Pinot Noir that appeals to both the masses and the critics. Nose here is sour cherry and violet dominated ... but the simplicity ends there. Palate has a sour plum beginning and a chalkiness of mineral mid to finish, but somewhere in there there's a sweet fruitedness that enters and sticks around on the long lingering finish.
