This is Creekside’s base-model pseudo-Meritage blend containing four of the five authorized Bordeaux varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec) … keen observers will notice that the Cabernet Franc is missing, replaced by Syrah. This Laura’s Red is easy drinking with spiced dark fruit and nice tannin grip, but also has blueberry, raspberry and cassis … should age nicely over the next 5-7 years.
