This is a fifty-fifty split of stainless steel and barrel fermented Chardonnay, plus they practiced lees aging and barrel selection on this wine … it’s quite the process winemaker/owner Ilya Senchuk goes through, but the resulting wine is one that should make Chardonnay fans very happy. Aromas of green apple, peach and mac apple give way to a palate that has crisp apple, hints of vanilla and pineapple, especially on the mid-palate, complete with its balancing acidity intact.
