I have tried a number of recent Marynissen releases and would have to say I’m extremely disappointed in what I tasted from this once iconic winery … sad. But I did find one bright spot, this 2013 Sauvignon Blanc – it’s basically what you expect from the grape with its grassy and white grapefruit – clean and crisp with a decent finish that lingers with orange zest and lime pith … a nice bit of layering here.
