This annual offering from Featherstone is as reliable as a Timex is for taking a licking and keep on ticking. It's also interesting to note that the 2178 case production of this wine represents more than a third of Featherstone's full production. Nose of green and mac apple, lemon, and talc all play second fiddle to the big shot of mineral that makes up the hallmark of this wine (nose and palate). Palate shows peach and apple up front with a nice hit of granny smith on the finish, complete with balancing acidity.  Price: $16.95 - Rating: ****+
