Tasted in 2017 … I’ve never had an Assyrtiko bubble – not even sure I’ve had a Greek sparkler, but here it is and it’s a beauty. Made in the traditional method from 100% Assyrtiko grapes. The bubbles are fresh and fine with aromas and flavours reminiscent of lemon drop, fresh baked croissant and crisp apple. Wow – give me more; simply lovely.  Rating: ****
