You don’t hear much about Henry of Pelham and Gamay, but they’ve had it planted on the property since 1988 … for this bottling they reduced the yield and barrel it up for 10 months in mixed aged barrels; it’s a juicy Gamay ready for a chill with black cherry and a hint of vanilla, there’s also some white pepper, mineral and cran-cherry backing it all up on the finish – it even manages to have a hint of violet just for an added dimension.
