A wine I missed during my October 13, 2018 Vintages Release Report, but should have definitely been on the list of wines to get. Tons of flavour from both fruit and spice: spiced-plum, spiced-cherry with an earthy character mid-way through, plus some herbal, sour cherry and black pepper … the silky fruit driven mid-palate leads to a spicy finish that lingers on and on. Age it awhile or pour into a Bordeaux-style glass for best results.  (LCBO #674572)
