A seven grape blend that starts with Zweigelt (54%) and Merlot (11%) with Foch, Gamay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc plus Pinot Noir in diminishing amounts: rich black cherry, smoky-mocha and earthy character on the mid-palate … it finishes a little strange but not enough to be off-putting, though I blame the Foch.
