The best wine and best Gran Selezione tried during Anteprima 2019 – what made this wine so great was its balance of tannins, acidity, fruit and subtle oak : a little cherry kicked things off, adding int floral, balsamic and more, darker fruits along the way – the acidity helped to balance and the tannins added some extra weight and elegance to the entire experience; should stand the test of time with a decade or more in the cellar.  Rating: **** ½
