With Derek Barnett at the helm of Karlo I’m not surprised that there’s good Pinot Noir on the menu – this fruit is grown in the eastern part of the County, spends 11 months in old French oak so the purity of the fruit comes through in the form of earthy-minerality and gentle-spice plus a pretty, yet slightly, floral note.  Price: $35.00 – Rating: *** ½+
