Malbec took a backseat in this blend at a mere 1% while Cabernet Sauvignon (45%) and Merlot (32%) took the lion’s share of the action (Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot are 17% and 5% respectively) – the wine come across as fresh and lively with great cherry and blackberry fruit notes plus a finish of smoky-mocha and tobacco.  Rating: ****
