It’s a wow wine that gets better the more you sip on it, plus it has a long life ahead of it. Smoky, mocha cherry and balsamic on the nose leads to a palate with supple blackberry, mocha, spice and white pepper … as it sits in the glass the complexity of this wine begins to really show through – and the long finish just adds to its enjoy-ability. The cellar is where this one should reside the next two years, but then open one up bi-annually just to see where it is and where it is going.  Drink: 2020-2035.  Rating; **** ½
