The iconic Mas La Plana is one of those wines you need to have heard of if you are following Torres (Spain) in any way. It’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with a back story that makes it one of those fortunate accidents of winemaking and the value of father / son conflict.  This year’s version has plenty of smoky black fruit, stony-minerality and rich tannins with a deep, smoky finish.
