Since we are at the end of summer it seems only right (?) that the LCBO should release one of its best rosés of the year – a Cote du Rhone pink blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault – now most of you know I’m a fan of Cote du Rhone reds and the value they offer, and this pink offers up that same kind of great taste for a price that is affordable and worthy of at least a tri-purchase (3 bottles). Peach and raspberry notes join forces with lime and hints of floral – it’s a delicious bottle of pink, but in theory you only have about 21 days to drink it – then it’s Fall and you have to start looking back to big Rhone reds.
