A blend of 63% Grenache, 16% both of Syrah and Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault which is done using the carbonic maceration method to provide an element of freshness to this Rhone Valley-esque blend. It spends 10 months in mainly neutral oak with only 18% new (all French) - the story behind the wine is lots of fun - and I tell it a little here in the video - but inside the bottle this wine is deadly seriously: full-on plum, red cherry, white pepper, wild red berries, with a nice spiced-mocha on the finish.
