Always a mighty fine Pinot no matter what the vintage, though it does better in cooler ones, but these warm ones like 2015 don’t seem to effect quality … this one really hits some great Pinot notes plus adds in some ones you would not expect: spiced plum and black cherry lead the way, then in comes some smoky-earthy blackberry, black raspberry and pomegranate – this one truly does have it all: fruit, spice and acidity – very well-balanced.  Price: $29.95 – Rating: ****
