Of the single sourced Pinots, The Farm makes this Mason Vineyard (sourced from their winemaker’s home vineyard) is their most produced (~100 cases) a four barrel output (22% new) spending 18 months in that oak. And it is starting to show consistency, as the 2015 was also a real winner. Spiced, cherry, earthy, smoky, strawberry-cranberry with real punchy acidity … on the entry-to-mid this wine shows a silky smooth note that’s both pretty and elegant and full of finesses. This just might turn out to be the The Farm’s signature Pinot Noir. Price: $52.00 – Rating: ****+
