Named after Clara's mother who created the style and the blend - 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet 10% Syrah and 50% Sangiovese. The Syrah is allowed to hang and ripen longer, while the Sangiovese is picked slightly early - the resulting wine is rich and ripe with lots of black cherry, spice, pepper and even some coffee bean notes.
