This screwcap sealed Franc comes from the Four Mile Creek appellation and, more specifically, a single vineyard: Serlucca Family. It’s 100% Cabernet Franc aged 16 months and contains a lot of red: red currant, red cherry, red licorice, along with tobacco and a note of smoked cherry on the finish – which just piles onto the red of that came before. Robust with good tannin structure and that aforementioned screwcap will mean it ages mighty slowly, and that a good thing.  Price: $25.00 – Rating: ****
