For starters there’s sweet plum, vanilla and cherry; being this is Shiraz there is a whack of pepper that shows up mid-palate to the finish along with some herbal and spice notes – the finish is long and supple with a blend of black and red fruit touched by spice all with  a fairly decent length.  Rating: *** ½+
