A Bordeaux blend from the southwest area of France, Cabernet dominant with Sauvignon at 39% but Franc right behind at 38% with some Merlot also thrown in for good measure – the numbers I have don’t equal up to 100 so there are probably other pieces to this puzzle. Bright black cherry, plum and vanilla with hints of violet and pepper – the sweet fruit core is a winner but the plastic cork screams drink now.  Rating: *** ½
