A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot aged in French, American and Hungarian oak for 10 months – the appeal of this wine is the smoky and spicy notes that envelope the blackberry and cherry; on the finish there was coffee beans and oak derived spiced and it all works.  Rating: ****
