It has been a while since I recommended something from Uruguay (last time was August 2019) and I have only done so 4 times since 2016, nothing has received over 3 and a half stars, so this is a big jump to a four-star must try wine, for both price, value and yes, quality. This little something for your shopping basket won’t break the bank and if very much worth a try. Tobacco and spice join cassis, blackberry and black pepper on the palate and the aromas mirror it to a tee. This is a great wine to pull out at a dinner party to fool your friends by asking them where they think it is from.  Rating: ****
