A Cote d’Or and Maconnais blend of Chardonnay that are both barrel aged 9 months (Cote d’Or) and stainless steel aged (Maconnais) to help represent the best of both worlds (oaky and fresh) – described as “commercial, approachable and contemporary” this Chardonnay is a pretty display of fruit with a delicate use of oak. Hints of floral greet the nose along with red and green apple, pear and lemon drop – nice acidity helps balance its fruity character … quaffable yet elegant.  Rating: ****
