Zalto something

Domaine Autraud 2017 Cotes du Rhone-Villages

This wine is all about the balance of fruit and spice and acidity and tannins and it is made from vines with an average age of 40-45 years old … plus it all comes at a price that won’t break the bank, in fact I would recommend picking up quite a few because it just might become your BBQ wine of choice this summer. It starts off with a minty-cherry-raspberry note then adds in some strawberry and mocha along the way the finish doesn’t let you down as there is a beautiful bittersweet chocolate note that sweeps in and sticks around. Don’t let this one pass you by, I’d say you’d regret it but then again if you never try it you’ll never know.  Rating: ****+
