This 14-month in French oak (15% new) Chardonnay has a nice fruit, mineral and acid mix. Rich mouthfeel leads to a long finish: a butterscotch/caramel mid-palate, with a hint of toasty and smoky notes but with plenty of fruit to back it up, like apple and peach cobbler.  Price: $30.00 – Rating: ****
