It’s no secret Baco is not my grape of choice, but if I had to chose one from the Henry of Pelham portfolio I think it would be these Old Vines numbers – they always seem to have a fresh fruitiness to them that has plum, black and blue berry along with hints of chocolate, subtle oak and a delicate pepperiness – and there’s also a nice balance of acidity to that fruit driven core … I don’t advocate drinking Baco, but if you had to, I mean really had to … you know the rest.
