This unoaked Chardonnay retains a vanilla and smoky note – not sure where the smoky comes from but the vanilla is from fine lees contact (3 months) – overall it has nice acidity and Chablis-like minerality plus some green and mac apple with a pinch of lime on the lengthy finish.  Price: $20.00 – Rating: ****
