This is quite an interesting version of Cabernet Franc that is very unexpected. Starting off it's very light in colour, similar to a Pinot Noir. It's definitely more savoury than one would expect, but also has lots of raspberry and a nice floral note. Juicy with cherry and wild strawberry quite easy to drink almost like a Gamay with supple tannins round plush mouthfeel and more fruit forward than you would expect. Drink early - though that screwcap closure will give it some longevity. Only 65 cases produced.  Price: $34.95 - Rating: ****
