The first thing you notice, once you've sipped this wine, is there is a nice weight and texture on the palate ... everything seems to come off a little more delicate as it rolls across the tongue: melon, peach, praline almonds, good minerality, a light touch of vanilla and a subtle buttered almond finish - the acidity is also on-point and helps this wine retain a lovely freshness.  Price: $40.00 – Rating: ****
