A Merlot dominated blend (80%) with a dose of Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and Cabernet Franc (5%) from the SunRock vineyard, formerly part of the Jackson Triggs portfolio - but now a brand all its own - it's everything good about Okanagan red wines and blends: sweet blackberry, black cherry, plum, mocha, vanilla and even has some coarse tannins (those should diminish with time and give way to that lovely fruit core). This will be even better in a few years, but right now there is an interesting fight between the fruit and tannin ... may the fruit reign supreme.  Price: $34.95 - Rating: ****+
