This wine is part of a pair of Pinots: this “East” Pinot comes from a St. David’s bench vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake. - sees 15 months of French oak (15% new). The results are subtlety of earthy, strawberry and cranberry with notes of floral and a little smoke on the finish. The acidity is on point here and helps drive the wine to have a real depth of flavor. It’s a ballsier version when compared with its “West” counterpart.  Price $35.00 - Rating: ****
