Shiraz Motiar has really settled into his role as King of Gamays in Ontario; he's now branching out using more styles, more vineyards and more versions of Gamay in the portfolio. This Wismer Foxcroft version has lots of black cherry leading the charge with notes of white pepper and raspberry all playing along. It's juicy, chillable, fruit-forward with a subtle peppery finish - but always with that beautiful fruit at its core.  Price: $27.95 - Rating: ****
