The nose suggests the typical Aussie notes of creamy caramel and butter, but the palate has a different story to tell: luscious mouthfeel that starts with grilled peaches and apple cobbler. There’s a nice seam of acidity that manages to balance out the subtle sweetness and creates a lovely green apple with cinnamon notes on the finish. Far from typical and that’s a really nice thing.  (****)
