Saturday August 19, 2017 - Vintages Release Report

10 Aug 2017

Key to the 5-star rating system:
5 = Outstanding … 4.5 = Excellent … 4 = Very Good … 3.5 = Good

Wine colour indicators - Red, Whites, etc.

The Foci … South of France (SoF) and South Africa (SA)
The Skinny … There are some goods wines in both focus categories, but there are even better wines outside the scope.  There’s an Arizonian wine (yes from Arizona) that’s a decent conversation piece, there’s a Limited Edition Chilean Cab that delivers (just like it did in last year’s version) and Italy and Spain each offer a couple of excellent values, again.  Check out the “What I’d be Getting” section at the bottom for the best value wines of the release.
